Cranberriesand Bilberries:
contain many organic acids (malic, citric, etc.) sugars, tannins, pectin, vitamin A, C and a small quantity of vitamin B. It also contains the anthocyanin glucoside that gives to the fruit its characteristic color and reducse the capillary permeability and reinforce the structure of the connective tissue which contains the blood vessels, improving the elasticity and the tone. These active compounds contained inside the phytocomplex give to this substance a capillary-protection property. Anthocyanins are able to inhibit the activity of certain enzymes that destroy collagen and elastic tissues of capillaries and vessels of the peripheral circulatory system, causing fragility and their excessive permeability.

Sweet almond oil:
mainly used in the cosmetic and dermatological sector as an emollient – that protects the cutis – for products with an hydrating, anti itch and anti-burn purpose. Smeared on face, thanks to its particular acid composition, the almond oil acts very well on the hydrolipidic film, obstructing the evaporation of the skin water. Sweet almond oil is not a stable element and it is subjected to go rancid quickly. For this reason Vitamin E (D, L- tocopherol acetate) is added to the cosmetics containing almond oil: Vitamin E has a precious antioxidant property and it is very important for the skin and for the conservation of the product.

Tomatoes :
contain significant amounts of vitamins: B vitamins, ascorbic acid, vitamin D and, above all, vitamin E, which ensure that the tomato has known antioxidant and vitaminizing properties. The mineral component is also present: iron, zinc, selenium, phosphorus and calcium associated with citrates, tartrates and nitrates act in synergy to ensure remineralising and antiradical properties..

Hyaluronic Acid:
is a mucopolysaccharide belonging to the group of glycosaminoglycans (GAG). It appears as a white powder soluble in water. The compounds of the hyaluronic acid are disaccharides unit of N- acetylglucosamine and glucuroni acid. It is a natural molecule of our organism (connective tissues). It constitutes the majority of the fundamental substance of the human dermis which, like a gel, binds collagen and elastic fibres together and gives the skin resistance and mechanical protection to the skin. It binds a lot of water and is therefore responsible for the turgidity of the skin. Artificially produced hyaluronic acid is identical to natural hyaluronic acid and therefore does not pose allergy problems. It is also used in the medical-aesthetic field to correct wrinkles, imperfections and in orthopedics to lubricate and protect joints.

Squalano:
has properties that protect the skin thanks its ability of regenerating the lipidic layer which is responsible for protecting the skin from the action of the outer agents. It also has an hydrating property because it reduces the evaporation of the water from the deepest epidermis layers (Trans Epidermal Water Loss). Squalano is mainly used as an emollient in skin care products, especially the ones recommended to whom has dry and sensitive skin and in baby products as well.

How to use:
Apply daily in the morning and in the evening with soft massages, after cleansing the skin with milk and tonic lotion.

How to preserve:
avoid to keep the product open for a long time. Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct light. The possible changing in color of the product shows the natural origin of the components and doesn’t change the quality of the product.
